The Anzacs

As the Anzacs were marching down the track.
Gunfire and the yelling of commands were the only noises.
The rain fell as hard as the stones they stood on.
The troop clothe they wore was slowly rotting.
No plant did grow on the battle field.
The mail from the soldier 's family gave them hope and happiness.

The men were wounded fell to the ground, as the sound of the exploding shells echoed all around.

The brave men were dying from disease and there was only one crate of tinned food left of off meat, potatoes and one or two more vegatables.
The fruit was rotten or diseased just like the men marching across the battle feild with their heads held high with pride of fighting for their country.
As they show pictures of their family, by the warm side of the glowing flame, while singing god save the queen.
Eating the last bag of raisins, after a while they began to sleep as sadness crept into the heart of the Anzacs.
The trenches over flowing withmud and weapons to somehow destroy the enemies.
the blankets staind with blood and wet with tears.
As they wake early, for the coming battles.
The men run out after the first command, wishing they were home with their loved ones.
Some of the soldiers do great deeds saviing the men, those soldiers may gain the Victorian Cross.
Men cried and screamed as they got shot from the bullets.
But hope still ran through their hearts, they belived they could live and that love and laughter would soon come again.
They will come again.
Least we forget

The Wolf Whisperer: Chapter 8: The Dream

Scarlet Slept the sweet perfume of roses filled her senses, she felt something soft in her right hand and all of a sudden she heard drumming, then a gun fire. The soft thing felt like a warm liquid a bit like blood, a scent of smoke took over the smell of roses. She saw a man with a wolf slummed over his back she heard a howl of a wolf and a battle cry of a man, fear ran over scarlet. She woke up and looked around her. She slowed her breathing to her normal cycle then noticed that what she just saw was just a dream. She noticed Z’ev was beside her, scarlet started to slow her breathing cycle and tried to get back to sleep, still haunted by her dream. Scarlet could not sleep; slowly scarlet got up the last rays of sun light shone in her face. The songs of the birds were fading away, scarlet looked up the trunk of the tree in front of here it was wide and branches stuck out of the trunk, with a jump and bit of a climb scarlet was on top of the tree on a thin branch but she didn’t care she had her luck stones with her. With a small leap scarlet jumped from tree to tree, until her village was in front of her, she saw two men they were hunter’s one hunter had a doe over his shoulder, the other hunter had a grey wolf slummed dead over his back. Scarlet terrified lost balance and fell to the ground with a thump and quickly she got her feet and ran back to Z’ev without looking back at the hunters that were watching her with amazed eyes. Scarlet realized that wasn’t any dream it was the future.

The Wolf Whisperer: Chapter 7:The Awakening

Z’ev watched as scarlet woke, walking towards her. He could see her pain and fear in
her eyes there was a three inch scratch across her face it was two millimetres
deep, her skin was burnt and there was a large bruise across her arm. Z’ev
blamed himself for her pain, Z’ev looked behind him there was his pack watching
him, three of the cubs howled and ran towards scarlet licking her clean, slowly
Scarlet tried to get up then her scream filled the air. Z’ev walked up to her,
scarlet wrapped her arm around him and she slowly got up. Then a female wolf
walked up to her, the ear of the wolf had a bite out of it and her eyes were
full of sadness. The wolf walked up to her then jumped on her wrapping her
front legs around her waist sought of like a cuddle. It was comforting for
scarlet, scarlet patted the wolfs soft fur, then scarlet noticed Z’ev was
looking up at her. Z’ev and the other wolves walked away slowly scarlet walked up
to a pile of leaves lay down and quickly fell asleep, comforted knowing that
someone was always watching her.
