I scrubbed the remains of the cereal off with the sponge,
hating to touch the cold water. I turned around to see the empty cereal box on
the bench. ‘I’m not putting you in the bin,’ with a flick of the wrist I shot a
small flaming ball towards, in a small explosive blast it was gone expect for
the cloud of smoke.
“Adara, what did I tell you about using your element in the
house” I heard my mum yell.
“Oh no” I mumbled running up the stairs, “goodnight mum.”
God sometimes I hate being the last fire elemental, controlling
fire for no use at all, oh and of course being a spirit. Dead, but alive, so
fun!
I walked towards the window sliding it open, imagining the
others...would they still remember me? I walked towards my computer and began
pouring myself into the wattpad stories, trying to smile by reading humourous ones,
but it had no effect.
A cold wind burst through my room, I turned to see a pile of
snow on the floor, I walked over to it and touched it with the tip of my finger
letting it melt under my touch. I stood up and closed the window, I saw a pale
face look at me, I shook my head I must be tired.
“Night mum!” I yelled opening my door.
“Night princess” she shouted back.
“Don’t ever call me that… Like ever again,” I said laughing,
I walked away and fell onto my bed, “Jack Frost. I never thought you would stop
by.” Recognising the face from outside, my eyes flutter closed.
